The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) National Help Center, founded in 1996, provides peer support, community connections, and resource information through multiple helplines and online chatrooms.
National Resource Center on LGBTQ+ Aging:
The National Resource Center on LGBTQ+ Aging’s primary focus is on improving the quality of services and support offered to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender older adults, their families, and caregivers. They provide information on best practice guides on LGBTQ+ aging, research, education, and even a mental wellness app.
SAGE Advocacy and Services for LGBTQ+ Elders:
SAGE is a national advocate and service organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ older adults since 1978. Their mission is to create welcoming communities that ensure a fulfilling future for all LGBTQ+ people.
