LGBT National Help Center:
The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) National Help Center, founded in 1996, provides peer support, community connections, and resource information through multiple helplines and online chatrooms.
National Resource Center on LGBTQ+ Aging:
The National Resource Center on LGBTQ+ Aging’s primary focus is on improving the quality of services and support offered to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender older adults, their families, and caregivers. They provide information on best practice guides on LGBTQ+ aging, research, education, and even a mental wellness app.
SAGE Advocacy and Services for LGBTQ+ Elders:
SAGE is a national advocate and service organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ older adults since 1978. Their mission is to create welcoming communities that ensure a fulfilling future for all LGBTQ+ people. The SAGE website offers a variety of resources on topics such as caregiving, healthcare, HIV/AIDS, housing, legal and financial issues, and social isolation, among others.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or have thoughts of self-harm, this hotline can help. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the hotline provides support from certified crisis responders who are trained in LGBTQ+ cultural competency and will offer support without judgment.​

Trans Lifeline is a grassroots peer support hotline that offers direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis. It is run by the trans community, for the trans community.
LGBTQ Center of the Cape Fear Coast:
This organization provides support for all LGBTQ+ people in the southeastern area of North Carolina. They offer programming, advocacy, and outreach for the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.
